~Hanbei~ Province #4 Echigo

Hanbei fell asleep in his chair, snoring. He looked like an innocent little angel sleeping there, with a small grin on his face. His ship proceeded on the calm waters until it reached their destination.
It was a couple of hours upon docking that the advisers decided they should probably wake him up.
"It's almost evening, we should probably tell him he slept through the entire day," said the first adviser.
"What? No way! He'll eat us alive if we wake him up. Do you know what happened last time I woke him up?" The second adviser said, stepping back.
"Relax, he must know. He is in charge of this ship, and-" the first one was cut off.
"-NO. Let him sleep as long as he wants, he's almost impossible to wake up anyways once he's asleep."
Hanbei started to groan, since he heard the two adviser's petty quibble. He sat up, yawning as he stretched.
"Hey......I was having the best na-" Hanbei looked out the window to see it was sunset, "Oh no! I slept through the entire day! Gah! I see we're here! I better go try to catch Masamune before it's too late! No time to waste!"
Hanbei adjusted his hat, grabbed his weapon (just in case Wink ) and then ran past the two advisers, pushing them over. He found his way off the boat and onto the piers. He dashed inbetween people, almost toppling them over. After he was able to squirm his way out of the crowd, he saw the castle.
"I need to find Masamune. But where could he be? That reckless idiot could be anywhere."

~Sorin~ Province #56 Bungo
"Hmm..." Sorin said, listening to what the young boy and his father had to say.
"I will make an alliance under these conditions. Our enemies are your enemies, and our friends are your friends. If I see you attack any other lands we are aligned with, we will break the truce. You will help us make strategies, yes? We can always use another strategist around here, Hanbei can be....moody. Don't tell him I said that, though!
In return, we will help you achieve your goals. We will help you defeat anyone that we also deem an enemy."
"There is one last condition, I'm sure your quite aware. You can't discriminate against Xavism, our religion. You will let us peacefully practice what we want, converting all that want to be saved! We'll be able to spread the word farther, nyayhahahaha....oh sorry, you don't have to convert yourselves, just respect it. Do we have a deal?"
Sorin held his hand out to Motonari.

~Nobunaga~ Province #31 Yamato
The army was lining up, and Nobunaga ordered them to march out. They would take 1 day to travel across the province, and the day would be the attack. They were heading out to claim Kanbei's province to get his attention. He left Mitsuhide in charge of the province.
The men started from the castle, walking silently on horseback. It was sunset, so the army would travel by night and sleep by day. That way, they can attack the castle at the night when the townspeople would be less expecting an attack. They would kill anyone who resisted them. That was the rule.
The army was in a wooded area, with occasional thorns pricking their feet and horses smelling fresh fruits growing on bushes. The army marched on, silently, as if it were one unit. There was little opposition, as there wasn't much civilization. The army would soon make it to the border, and set up camp temporarily there.

~Masamune - Providence 4 - Castle~

(This is still at night/early morning.)
"Okay. I'll keep that in mind. You may be off. If you ever feel like you must return to Kraken, then do so." Masamune said to Whisper. Whisper then went on her way, with the fan in hand. Masamune looks back at the note. There is no time written on it..and I'm pretty tired. I will see him tomorrow. Masamune let out a yawn.

"Milord, you should get some rest, I will take care of everything here, like account the weapons and deaths..if we had any." Kojuro said.

"Thanks Kojuro, I knew I could rely on you." Masamune said with a smile. He dismounted his horse and led her to the stables. Then he called it a night.

(Next Day - Sunset)

The day was a pretty normal day. Masamune didn't bother to put on his armor, since it was casual and no threat was upon them. He was in casual clothes. He did keep one sword with him, just as a saftey precaution. He decided to come out the caslte around sunset, to visit Kraken.

"Kojuro, it's time to visit that pirate. Let's move." Masamune said.

"Right milord. I'm going to bring some parchment just in case we actually do create a battle strategy right then and there." Kojuro said. He had a bag full of ink, paper, and brushes to write with. The two of them setted out of the castle on the road to the town. They saw some impatient guy shoving people out of the way.

"Well, that ain't right to do. I think I will go yell at him, hmph." Masamune said. His eyes narrowed at the short guy.

"Milord, I think it would best to let them be. We really should be going." Kojuro said.

Ignoring Kojuro, Masamune walked up to the guy. He was much shorter than Masamune thought. Wow, he's so tiny, he could be mistaken for a child...or IS he a child? "Hey bub, are you pushing my citizens around? You don't have to shove to get what you want, and it's just plain rude. These good people are just trying to live their lives, without hassle."

Kojuro ran up to Masamune and short guy. "Lord Masamune! Please don't act rash, they are only a child it seems. We really should be going."

I was thinking his casual clothes was something along the lines of this:

~Motonari - Providence 56 - Castle~

"Ummm, sure, those conditions are fine. Xavism isn't really my thing, but maybe my son will be interested in it, hahaha."
Motonari said.

"HEY! I'm not going to follow their stu-...I mean I'm not interested in Xavism, no thank you." Takakage said. He bit back to insult such an odd religion.

Sorin seemed pleased with the agreement.

"Well, shall I write the pact?"
Motonari said. He was lead into a room with a desk, ink, and paper. He wrote a very detailed pact and signed it at the bottom. Sorin also wrote his signature.

"Now, we must be getting back to our providence, if you don't request our services at this moment."
Motonari said.

Province 6: Hitachi

"I see," Magoichi says. "Well, I can't confirm an alliance with a lord who can't even figure out his side for the alliance. Common enemies isn't good enough if other goals aren't made clear. If he still wants one, then the chap better figure out why he needs my assistance."

She turns towards the corner where her servant is.

"Arashi, I know you're there." Magoichi yells.

A saika clad young man walks out and makes a bow.

"Y-Yes milord?" the gunsman says.

"Since you decided to listen in, you can be the one to escort our guest out. He might not see the other half of traps in the fort, and I don't want the Skylark to shoot him down just for not enjoying the tea. Go now."

"Of course milord" he responds and takes Kirito out of the room.

Magoichi leans back in her chair, watching them leave. She then chomps on a leek she grabbed from the tray before getting lost in her thoughts.

-The Leviathan, Kraken / Crow-

Kraken stood looking over his customary meeting outfit. Normally sealed and locked in his personal wardrobe it barely sees the light of day, only meant for special occasions. The craftsman who created this unique piece used all the thrill and excitement Krakens livelihood displays. The shark skin and white tiger fur combined perfectly forming the overcoat for the captain. The fine weave work of the silks for the customary shirt bring attention to the powerful presence of the Captain. The treated leather stitched precisely for the pants to form a presence of both strength and style. The boots, gloves and hat. All made of the finest exotic materials bring the ensemble together. Kraken looked on this powerful outfit the same way he always had... with bitter sour. It was heavy, hot and very uncomfortable. It may provide quite decent protection from the heft of the overcoat but at the cost of a weight not meant to be burdened by one man. Kraken held his hands to his face, pinching his forehead. The silence is finally broken as Crow enters the room with a loud thud of the door being forced instead of opened normally.

Crow: "Ladies, stop your grinnin' and drop your linen!"

Crow drops 4 outfits all matching perfectly onto the bed. It's like her customary outfit for missions but with a thrill of silver and gems. The design of Kraken tendrils from the bottom is finely laced throughout each one. The 3 cutthroats who have been all sitting on various furniture watching Kraken now jump to their feet and approach the bed. Normally all separate their outfits called to their own personal presence. But in situations of miscommunication and threat it is good for them to all operate as one. So without a word they begin to undress, placing their hair in the same style and even donning makeup covering any differences between the 4 of them. Unless one gets close enough to see eye color you would never be able to tell them apart.

Kraken used to joke about the privileges of watching the stunning women change in his room. But that all changed when 1 of the previous Crow lookalikes gave her life during a confrontation out at sea. A supposedly peaceful surrender of a beaten opponent. He remembers the Pirate Captain Gan Ning surrendering, but suddenly pulling a strange handheld type firearm he aimed at Krakens heart. Before Crow hacked him down he fired. Riona... Kraken could never forget her name. She jumped in front of the bullet... and fell quiet forever.

Kraken always knew that these women would die for him. But that was the first time he felt he could've done something. He knew Gan Ning was known for his tricks. But was full headed and believed he had truly won. Kraken laced up the shirt in preparation. He never liked to meet with other Lords and leaders due to the one main fact. It's usually not necessary to kill a messenger. But the chance to defeat a major power during a meeting is very compelling. Kraken looked over at the women at their various stages of preparing. The thrill of romantic notions escaped him. All he could imagine was another lifeless body in his arms. He took one more deep breathe and heaved the heavy coat off the stand, placing it on his shoulders he felt the weight of leadership once again.

Kraken: It is getting to be that time my Crows... Shall we see what the day brings?

~Hanbei~ Province #4 Echigo
Without a moment to waste, two men approached him. One of them was dressed casually, and had appeared to have lost his eye. Hanbei was winding his arm to get ready to punch the daylights out of the one who called him a 'child'; until he spoke the name "Masamune," that is.
Well, now I see why they call him the One-eyed Dragon. He's as reckless as I thought, talking to everyone and everything. I shall introduce myself.
"Lord Masamune, I apologize for taking your valuable attention away from your duties. I didn't realize you protected your citizens so.......faithfully. I've been looking for you, though," Hanbei said, giving a slight nod of acknowledgement, "Let's say that I can make your dreams come true. Your clan has a very negative reception among those who are your enemies. I assume you want to restore prosperity to your clan, making a name for yourself. Honor. Loyalty. Truth. Those things, and many more, are what your men fight for day by day. But how would you possibly gain a respectable title? How could you make your territory feared enough so rogues will stay away? The answer, Lord Masamune, is strategy."
Hanbei took a step closer towards Masamune and Kojuro.
"I'm a very busy man who would never ask for anyone's help but, of course, the best. And great strategies can only be pulled off by well, great people. People with potential, capacity, and goal orientated. You're that kind of person, inheriting a will along with a vision. Fantasizing about strategies is fantastic, making endless plans to throw an enemy over. However, there is a fine line between fantasy and reality; to make a strategy work, the resources must be made available. And the resources I have? Plenty. But not enough for my satisfactory, or to accomplish my Lord's goals."
"My name is Hanbei. Perhaps you've heard of me, perhaps you haven't. I serve Sorin Otomo, leader of the Otomo Clan. I would be very interested in getting to know the Date clan alot better. Of course, as long as you don't treat me as an insignificant child."

~Sorin~ Province #56 Bungo
"Actually, your services would be quite helpful. We are going to attack the Hojo. My men are preparing to launch the attack tomorrow. Perhaps you would be interested in helping us claim the province? This could be the start of a beautiful friendship. No pressure, of course.."

~Nobunaga~ Province #31 Yamato
Nobunaga's army marched on until they reached the border. The army had set up camp there to rest. Nobunaga had already begun to write down his plans to attack Kanbei.
I must always be ready for battle. My men will follow me if I am as faithful to the plan as they are. There can be no room for error. We will take this province, and soon we will take the world.

Yay for 500th Post!!!!

~Masamune - Providence 4 - Outside the village~

Masamune was about to speak, but then he was cut off by Kojuro. "Hmmm, rumors of your skills have even reached our shores. My apologizes for calling you a child. Appearance is very deceiving."

"However, this ki-,I mean, man has a way with words. I like that." Masamune folds his arms. "I think you might of earned yourself with an alliance. But, I refuse to ever like Sorin. He's kinda a brat, no offense."

"Take no attention to Lord Masamune. He just has a strong dislike for Sorin.." Kojuro said, trying to cover up his Lord's words.

"And if I'm to accept, you can't bring your petty religion over here. What's it called, Xavism?" Masamune said.

"Shall I go in and write us a contract, Sir Takanaka?" Kojuro said, ignoring Masamune. "I think both me and my lord agrees this is the best course of action."

"We better hurry this up. Remember, I have to meet with Kraken, too?" Masamune said.

~~~~~~~~~~
~Motonari - Providence 56 - Castle~
The Hojo? They shouldn't be a problem. Just give me a map, and plan will be in your hands. Taka can keep you company in the meantime." Motonari said. He went off to the stratigist's room, which had pearly white walls, and sat down. He immediately started to write down a plan.
Taka, now alone with Sorin, "Hey. I think if we strike at night, we could get the element of suprise, right? We can't act rash into this."
Kirito nodded to Magoichi and was escorted out of the room. He was in the halls when he heard an action, someone just jumped above him . Kirito put his hand back to grab one of his swords and saw ninjas above his head, making an attempted assassination of him. Kirito drew out Freiheit in his right hand and blocked at a Ninjas attempted attack, countering by stabbing the ninja in his gut with Shi, his second sword.
Kirito alerted any and all people in the castle with his easy kill of a pathetic ninja. Kirito was prepared to counter the next 3 ninja's who lurked among the shadows. Kirito then said to Arashi, "You, alert your lord, about the assassins." Kirito pulled off an imagawa crest attached to one and handed it to him, adding ,"Imagawa Assassins. "
Arashi nods and runs back down the hall towards the room his lord was in. He dodges a thrown dagger and shoots into the shadow in the corner. He reaches the room to find her still sitting in the chair, a few less leeks in the dish.
"Lord Magoichi, there are Imagawa-"
Arashi begins.
Arashi stops mid-sentence as several dark figures jump out from the shadows, all aiming for Magoichi. She realizes something is amiss, all their attention coming at her. Then,
"Hiyeeaaahhh"
A dark green figure flashes by Arashi's eyes, landing on each of the assassins. A stunned Arashi watches Magoichi shoot one last assassin retreating through the window. She speaks without turning.
"Ah Rinku. Back I see, just in time." Magoichi says.
"Hmph" Rinku grumbles.
"Thank you Rinku. You may explain why you're back so soon after we rid our home of this unwelcome guests." Magoichi says, quickly loading her guns. "Rinku, Arashi, move out."
She dashes through the doors into the corridor, seeking victims to meet her bullets.
Kirito -Hitachi Providence 6
Kirito blocked another assassins blade with Shi, then slashes his foe with Freiheit. Kirito then drew Freiheit into its seaboard, throwing one of his needles into an assassins heart, another into a different Assassins shoulder.
Kirito then defeated another ninja with Shi easily. He then blocked another Ninja with his black steel blade, and jabbed his foe with one of his needles, killing the ninja.
Kirito noticed Magoichi stapling ninjas with bullets, he helped fight with her covering her back,"Lady Saika."
Providence 26 -Lucia
Lucia sulked out of her bed and felt like garbage, however, that has been common since her father's death and uncles betrayal. Lucia pulled out her sword, Furaingufeari, and polished it, fixing any damage on it when, she got a sudden realization, that being of clarity. She remembered her Uncle say something before he choked on his own blood, M-al-No-un-O-sh-l-e-y-. She realized what he said, saying it out loud, "My Ally, Nobunaga Oda, shall end you."
Lucia stood up and held her blade, having a fire ignite in her, she then went to the tactitions room, telling her advisors about her Uncles little Ally, Nobunaga Oda.
~Hanbei~ Province #4 Echigo
"Kraken? Like, the Kraken in the rumors with the ship, the Leviathan? If you're going to meet with such a man, please let me come with you. I would love to see this rumored ship and the mind behind it," Hanbei's eyes lit up. Well, this is just my lucky day! Not only are we forming a pact with the Date, I could possibly form an agreement with Kraken! That ship must be loaded with weapons and what-not, probably perfect for a naval strategy! I would love to use that ship in my plans! But I don't want to come off as too excited....I have to find out his motivations, and then in turn figure out how to turn that into words I can use form the alliance. Of course, I need to promise something in return for letting me use that fancy ship....
When Kojuro came back with the pact, Hanbei signed it.
"I will inform my lord of this pact when I come back. He will, of course, will want to speak with you himself, to discuss further plans to achieve our goals. I request an audience with you on our territory. You must come meet my lord. I could, of course, take you there on my ship if you'd like, and offer you transportation back to this province."
~Sorin~ Province #56 Bungo
Sorin's eyes lit up at the plan Takakage had offered him. He hadn't thought of such things like the time and day, he only knew that he wanted to take that land sitting next to his territory. Even though they just formed a new friendship between the clans, Sorin was already benefiting from these genius intellectuals.
"Takakage, that sounds like a great idea! You're right, steady planning should be done; I need an adviser right now!" Sorin called, and one ran inside, "I need you to tell my men to plan for this attack tonight, as soon as Motonari is done writing the strategy. Why wait for tomorrow when we can do this today? Hurry, now!" The adviser nodded and ran out, carrying out Sorin's orders.
"I wonder how Hanbei's doing. You would've been able to meet him if he was here, but he went out to do some business. Perhaps your brilliant minds can combine and form the ultimate plan- that is, of course, he doesn't fall asleep on you."
~Masamune - Providence 4 - Outside the Castle~
"An audience? Hmph, figures. " Masamune said, he crossed his arms.An audience means I will be absent from the castle...and perhaps the attack against the Fuma. The Otomo providence is so far away from here..it will take me a while to get there and back! I guess Kojuro will have to take over in my absence.
"I personally will go see Lord Sorin after this meeting, Hanbei." Masamune said, he turned to a nearby guarding, going out for a patrol. "Could you go get my armor and swords? It's never bad to be well prepared. Bring them down to the harbor." The guard bowed and headed for the castle.
Kojuro rolled up thr pact and put it inside his coat. "Shall we get going. Since you are now with us, I suppose you can come meet Kraken."
"Just a question, you said you came by boat right? How in the world did you miss the Leviathan parked in the harbor?" Masamune said. He gave Hanbei a puzzled look.
Hanbei's was short, "I was just, you know, focused on my objectiv-" He cut it off as if he was about to say some thing else.
"Well, no more time to delay. Let's go" Kojuro said, taking the lead. Masamune followed him and Hanbei kept up.
After a while of walking, the harbor was in sight, the Leviathan in sight, being repaired by some if the town's carpenters. The children that seem to be playing marbles scrambled seeing their lord. Most of them stood up and bowed.
"No need to stop your play. I'm here just doing business." Masamune called out to them. The slowly started to continue to play marbles. Masamune and his group stopped about a goof ways away from the ship, waiting for Kraken to appear.
~~~~~~~~

Motonari - Providence 56 - Castle~

It didn't take Motonari long to finish a well written plan. The Mori and Hojo had conflict in the past, so Motonari knew their land well. He put his ink feather down and whipped some ink off his  hand. He grabbed the plan and came out of the room.

"Lord Sorin, I have finished the plan. It's a simple strategy to get to higher ground for the advantage. Then, we send a small army to attack them head on and our larger army to attack from the side. To confuse the Hojo." Motonari explained.

Takakage nodded hearing the plan. "Sounds great, Dad. Lord Sorin wants to attack at night..er a suggestion made by me."

"Well, great for you, son, that is very smart." Motonari smiled at him. A smile of approval.

Okay, Warning this will be a long one, Just wanting to get a large chunk of our talk down with to help speed things up... also for those that don't know a Urchin'gram is when you pay a child (usually poor) to deliver a message, when he has delivered it he is paid by the recipient of the message as well... kind of half now / half later.

- Providence 4 harbor, Kraken and Crow -

Krakens boots echoed loudly with each step across the old harbors wooden docks. His steps completely rendering those of his Crows utterly silent. The 4 cutthroats walked in unison. Always looking in all directions while Krakens attention remained forward. Occasionally he would stop at a vendors location or small shop to examine some wares. Finally he stopped at a fish and ramen stand, the aroma of the freshly pan seared fish wafted through the wind calling to many. Kraken handed a large handful of coin to the man behind the counter and shared few words. The owner bowed his head in acceptance and began handing out skewered fish and bowls of food to anyone who came within range of his voice.

Crow: “Generosity will come to cost you my captain. In the end what does this accomplish.”

Kraken turns to answer Crow when a small child comes up almost jumping with excitement. Several others rush behind the child all trying to claim Krakens attention.

Crow: “Looks like your Urchin’gram is working. Never would it surprise me the loyalty of children lies in coin.”

Kraken: “My dearest Crow, their loyalty rests in acknowledgment. Of a reward for a performing a much needed deed and service.”

Kraken takes a knee and pulls several pieces of coin for each of the children. Smiles fly across their faces, many never even held a piece of silver before.

Kraken: “Now my brave spies, what have your uncovered?”

Boy Child: “The man your looking for is right over there, he was watching some of us play marbles, we snuck away to find you. We did good?

Girl Child: “Yeah, he didn’t even see us, and he has other people with him. I think their names were Kaharo and H…”

Small Child: Kojuro dummy, and a small guy, I think they called him Hanbei. They looking at the giant ship and waiting by where we play marbles, over there.”

The small child points at the odd grouping of adults further down the docks. Kraken smiles and roughs the hair of the child directly in front.

Kraken: “Good job, now get some free food and quickly leave the area for awhile. I have some business to attend.”

Kraken stands and stretches before walking towards the group. Crow moves quickly to his side. While the others fan out. Kraken walks past a small business stand. Crow on his left, the water on his right. He passes another stand, Crow on his left, Whisper on his right. She speaks quickly about present matters and by the next stand she is gone.

Crow: “She seems in high spirits. I think she enjoys cutting out traitors tongues. She has the streak to be brutally upfront with those who play false roles.”

Kraken: “We all play false roles, but during these times the message needs to be sent to our enemies. You sneak in… but you never leave in one piece. Not very useful as a spy when you can’t talk without a tongue and you can’t write without fingers. We do still offer them the chance to forsake their previous employer and vow unconditional service I hope?”

Crow: “I’ll remind her… but now back to the matter at hand. I’m guessing you want to do the usual approach.”

Crow gestures with a circular hand motion in the air, children all around Masamune, Hanbei and the others start to run around playing tag suddenly making a loud commotion, granting a smokescreen for Kraken. He moves right behind them while they watch the children trail off, standing still he acknowledges their postures and weapons, the cutthroats have returned to his sides and back while Crow herself moves in front of him.

Kraken: “Greetings masters of the lands, we can walk while we talk.”

They turn quickly, a few of them with a jump. Kraken turns quickly and is already in a slow stride back the way he came down the dock. The others look at each other before rushing to gain ground.

Kraken: “Interesting game marbles is. It may seem like a game of pure strength but the spoils go to the one who can out maneuver the larger and heavier marbles while protecting his own. Sometimes pushing an enemy to the edge allows another player to take them out for you.”

Kraken turns to look Masamune in the face. He then turns to acknowledge both Kojuro and Hanbei. He nods slightly, the 3 cutthroats who have moved mere inches from their backs break their strides and fall back a foot or two as to not crowd them.

Kraken: “You’ll excuse them, they fear my safety, but I’m pretty sure you understand whats at stake if I fall on this spot. Seeing as Leviathan is parked in your territory and still fully operational. But time to discuss my plan.”

Kraken hands a small map to Kojuro all without breaking his stride or turning his attention from forward.

Kraken: “This map details all major, minor and smuggler land routes of transportation to Fuma territories. I can easily handle a complete shut down of all sea transport for them, I’m guessing you can understand where I’m getting at. Without supplies he loses his strength. With me pushing at him at every angle he has no where to go but down. Through Date and Saika territory.”

Kraken stands still in front of the very stand that had been serving free ramen and fish minutes ago. Now the area is vaguely empty, the owner can be seen quickly running from his shop.

* Boooooooom *

The shop explodes suddenly upwards in a trail of smoke. Anyone who had been around the area now move faster to escape. Crow looks quickly and points in one direction, then crosses her hands pointing at another. She pinpoints 2 people who were staring intently at them. In the distance Masamune can see Whisper come from the shadows grabbing one of them, quickly putting them down and with a strange motion dislocating an arm. One of the Crow lookalikes takes off after the other, who quickly turns with great skill trying to make a hasty escape into the nearby woods.

Kraken: “Now Fuma will have no idea what is going on between us. I also serve in making my case. I am not one to be trifled with. I am not a tool to use. I am an ally who is willing to go to great lengths to seed out and eliminate the enemy. But I am a compassionate man as well. I do not wish harm on the innocent but nary a war goes by without effecting everyone. I hope you are willing to stand for your people, all the people of Japan. Because I do not have such ambition. That gives me the advantage, I humbly wish to just place those with the want to rule and protect in charge. A land cannot be held together by one. It takes many like minded people to conquer. So shall we talk of a ceasefire. Young Hanbei, seeing as you are with them I have a feeling you have managed your own agreements already so we can speak. Also fear not master Date, I paid the owner much to insure his compliance with this setup and others to secure the safety of the area. Only those I wished to harm have been affected.”

Eh. Was working earlier, feeling sadistic. Time to shoot everyone.

Province 6: Hitachi

"The Saika do not appreciate unwanted house guests," Magoichi said outloud.

Magoichi took a deep breath, remaining perfectly still for a brief second. She took in all the surrounding action from the shifting air currents. With a quick release, she pulls her pistols and with arms full out she unloads sideways working her hands together, gunning down her targets. The air on her back changes quickly as she bends over halfway, allowing the assassin to fly overhead completely missing his target. With a quick kick up her rifle floats into the air. With a quick twist she grabs and fires behind her, dropping several others.

"What coward sends in two dozen assassins for a single target anyway?" Magoichi snorts.

"Imagawa apparently. Pathetic really." a soft voice nearby says.

That was not Rinku, nor Kirito. Magoichi thinks while shooting another ninja but through the eyes.

"Lady Saika I need to speak with you." the voice came again.

This time, Magoichi saw the young lady, right as she was about to shoot her. Instead of the bullet piercing though the short green leather jacket and beige lace-wear, the shot went into the body of a kunoichi pulled in front.

"When you are not too busy though," spoke the lady with the lavender curl-styled hair dropping the female ninja's body.

"Did you come in with Rinku? I didn't take him as the lady's man." Magoichi questions. "A tad busy though."

"No miss, I am Indigo, I come on pirate Lord Kraken's orders."

"I see, so Ishikawa's in the area. Good for him." Magoichi says thoughtfully.

*Bang! Bang!* the rifle goes off again.

Magoichi jumps, doing a side somersault in the air, and letting her rifle infiltrate the armor and tunics of the next batch of unruly assassins. She lands gracefully, her sash skirt thing floating gently back to its resting position. The last opponent leaped off a pillar towards the Lady Saika, only to get a poison tipped arrow slit into his throat. A few meters over, Rinku lowers his bow, speaking not a word.

"Hmph attack the Saika and you get your wings clipped" Magoichi spits on the dead man's face.

"Lord Magoichi" Indigo says, stepping up with a map at the end of an extended arm. "Kraken would like if you would help to blockade the Fuma transports, preferably at these locations on the sea chart, and to schedule a meeting to discuss a joint naval operation to remove the Oda sea power."

"And in return?" Magoichi questions with a raised eyebrow after glancing at said map.

"I am to be at your service, and act as messenger between the two of you. You may place any order upon me. Further negotiation is possible of course."

Magoichi leans back in thought. Rinku walks over to whisper something in her ear. She mumbles something back, quick shooting a fidgety assassin on the floor. Rinku whispers something once more. She nods, then turns her attention to the lonely swordsman.

"Thank you Kirito-san, for the assistance, even though it was not needed." Magoichi says, dusting off her rifle's barrel before returning it to its shealth.

Lord Saika walks over to her expected guest and picks him up by the collar.

"Now, the swordsman Kirito," Magoichi begins. "Please understand, while you may be a fine warrior, that does not mean your lord has provided me with a profitable offer. In fact, he did not even tell you his offer to give me. Lord Sanada should invest in a tactician then, I would recommend Lord Tanaka even if it's been awhile since I've heard from him."

Magoichi releases the swordsman onto his feet before turning back into the room.

"Lady Indigo was it? Before you report back to your captain, would you mind paring with Rinku here to  escort this swordsman out of my territory. Oh, and while you're doing that, please help with the attacks on the western bridge, I need at least one of them functional."

Magoichi watches them leave, reloading her rifle.

Hitachi Providence 6

Kirito nodded to what Magoichi said, thinking, "Yukimura is such a embassy."

Kirito was escorted out, he then walked away from the castle, taking a liking to Magoichi's style of battle. He then yawned, and walked to a nearby tree, and lay down, taking a nap.

Providence

Lucia was with her advisors, listening to what they where saying, agreeing to every word, then saying, "Our primary concern, as stated is the Oda, we should gain allies to prepare yourself as a strong force, and make an Iron Wall for the Northern Japan."

One of her advisors, Mitsunari Ishida, her cousin, nodded, "Agreed, we can prevent that foolish Dragon from ever attacking any northern forces."

~Hanbei~ Province #4
This guy has an impressive way of showing he means business. I like that, and his little shows and speeches.
"I never was one to become involved with the ninjas. They're nasty business, but if Masamune is fighting them then I will gladly be of assistance if asked. I, much like you Kraken, would like to see this war end. If defeating the Fuma gets closer to world peace, then I say, kill them! You already seem to have a plan, so do whatever works for your own fights. However, I do not have the power to deploy my lord's army there to help even if I wanted to. I have only come to forge an alliance in his name. I come from the Otomo land, and my lord is Sorin. You've probably heard of him, he took the clan over a few months ago."
"Kraken, I think I would interested in forging an alliance with you, especially with that ship," Hanbei points to it, "That ship is a huge advantage to anyone whose side it is on. I would be honored if you let me see the interior."
"I'll be honest I didn't know this conflict was going down. Masamune, I still wish for you to have an audience with my lord. If this fight gets in the way, then we can depart after your battle."

~Sorin~ Province #56 Bungo
With the plan in motion, Sorin's army has assembled within two hours. One of the advisers had gone to the Mori territory to spread the word of preparing to attack the Hojo. The men from the Mori would come to combine with the Otomo army to form the bigger army.
"I ask you Takakage, to please lead the smaller army. Me and Motonari will lead the bigger armies, so they don't know what is coming."
The horse feeders had lead the few horses the Otomo army had out. The Otomo army wasn't big on keeping army, so there were only 20 of them. The most important men in the front line would be provided with a horse, as well as Sorin, Motonari, and Takakage.
"Our province may be rich, but we aren't a farm. So please accept these horses to ride on while we go conquer the Hojo. They aren't the best, but they will do. We should be ready to start marching in a few moments."

~Nobunaga~ Province #33 Kwatchi
The camp began to dismantle after a few hours upon being set up. Some of the men were confused, while others were please to even get a few hours of rest. Nobunaga had ordered that he decided to conquer this province today, along with the one right next to it, Izumi.
The army was to divide in two. The first army, lead by Nobunaga, would go attack Kwatchi and conquer it. Once conquered, Nobunaga would quickly march a few hours to Izumi and take it over. It would be effortless, painless, and an easy way to get more land.
Nobunaga lead the army through the farmland.
"Kill any livestock you see, and any people who resist the Oda."
The men charged into every pen and fenced area, killing all the animals. This tactic was used so that way the people would starve themselves out if they tried to stay. It was also to show that with Nobunaga ruling, you will be hungry if you don't obey.
The army marched forth, soon reaching the capital city with the castle. Citizens stared at the army marching through, the bloodstained army bringing fear to all who see it. And soon enough, the enemy started to fight back, men charging out of the castle to greet the Oda army.

Honestly, this post might be everywhere @_@ I was trying to situate where we were even going, so bare with me. Any problems address in the discussion, I am willing to change Wink

~Masasmune - Providence 4 - Town~

"Hmmm, whatever is best for you, Hanbei. I'm ready to lop off Kotaro's head right now. But, if you want to have a meeting with Lord Sorin, I will be happy to leave my retainer Kojuro in charge. He knows what he is doing, I've known him for practically my whole life." Masamune said, he went to scratch an itch on his arm, causing the sleeve of his clothes to move up and down with the hand as he scratched. Hmmm, Hanbei is trying to get an alliance with Kraken. Well, good luck with that.

"Hmmm, I will send some carpenters out to help that shop rebuild their building and home. Since the Fuma have all ears and eyes in our territory, we have to be extra cautious talking in public." Kojuro said. He readjusted his glasses as he looked at the rumble from the blast.

Masamune looked a Kraken. He noticed something he hadn't before. The captain had an eye patch on. Did he lose his eye, or is that just fashion. A memory flashed in Masamune's thoughts, back to the day he lost his eye. The pain. The guilt. The hate. Masamune brushed the memory away. The past should stay in the past.

Kojuro brought Masamune out of his thoughts, "We could use Whisper to be our scout and messanger. She could spy on Lord Kotaro and find out his true intent as we battle. She can give us strategy and notes to help us win this. I will head back to the castle and round up the troops. You, Hanbei, and Kraken finish up here." Kojuro turned to leave and started the long trek back to the castle. The servant who had Masamune's armor finally showed up. He bowed and handed it to Masamune. Masamune put on it as fast as he could covering his casual clothes. He only hesitated to put on his hat. It wasn't long before Masamune could hear Kojuro coming back with the mounted troops.

"Looks like this party is getting started!" Masamune said with a smile. He placed his signature crescent-moon hat on his head. Kojuro came around with his horse and a smaller white horse, almost full grown, for Hanbei. "Hey look, he got a horse for you, too, shorty." Masamune went to his horse and mounted her.

"I believe you can take the sea route. We will take the quickest route on horseback. We will always have one scount by the shore with a torch so you can estimate our location." Kojuro addressed Kraken, who was silent since the explosion. Kraken seemed to understand with the look in his eyes.

"I will allow you to have some of my soldiers, Captain. Don't hesitate to ask the scout to bring some out to your ship. I'll give you a good twenty men to start." With a hand motion, twenty men wearing blue army of the Date headed to the harbor.

Masamune took the lead of the troops. "We will start today. Our party location today is Fuma Territory! They gave us a pretty interesting party favor don't you say? Let's teach that imbecile how to throw a real party!" Masamune had a cocky tone, like usual. The army cheered as the set out for the Shima border. One of the men detached from the main group with a torch and head for the shoreline.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Motonari - Providence 56 - Bungo~
"Works for me Lord Sorin. Taka, you can just take the horse you came with. We did bring a few weapons, only your main and mine really. Go get it and your horse." Motonari told his son. I'm not as young as I used to be. I hope I still have it in me to fight! Takakage nodded and ran off to the fancy stables where the Otomo servants took the Mori horses.
"Right, as I will get my horse as well, Master Sorin. Give me a moment." Motonari said as he turned his attention to the young, impatient lord. He turned and followed down the same hallway as Takakage. When Motonari got to the surprisingly clean stable he located his old horse that he called Mutt. Taka's horse was much younger, with a nice chest brown coat. Taka easily mounted his horse, weapon in hand. He fought with a magic book that only cover earth magic and a longsword. He headed out towards where the detachment was waiting for him.
Motonari then mounted his Mutt. He attached his weapon to his wrist. It was advance technology, designed by Motonari himself. It gave him the ability to slash people with a claw like artillery. He could also shoot out muskets from the three points to hit from afar. He headed towards Sorin and his army. They mostly had foot soldiers since they were more on trade and prosperity than horse. Rumors spread that the Date had a pretty overwhelming Calvary, but Motonari didn't know if that was true. All he can think about when he thinks of the Date is Teremune, Masamune's father and predecessor. But that was another story. Motonari had to worry about the battle with the Hojo.
Lord Sorin was waiting at the gate of the castle with the army. "I'm ready to go. Let's use the night to our advantage. No stopping for breaks on the way. We should make it at early morning, before the sun rises in the east." Motonari said as he came up on his horse. Taka's detachment should already be a bit ahead of us by now.
The army set out with Sorin in the front, Motonari closely behind him, and the rest of the foot soldiers behind them.
~Takakage - Providece 56 - Near the Hojo border~
I will do this when necessary. We need to know about the detachment, don't ya think?
Taka neared the border of the Hojo, it's gentle slopes calm and peaceful. Little do the Hojo know that a full out assault was upon them. "Alright, let's follow my father's plan guys and attack from the side. Let's go!" Takakage said confidently. They crossed the border without a second thought and headed northwestward. The town with the castle looming on the part of a mountain was visible, with lanturns and torches lining the streets. This is it!
- Providence 4 -Kraken-
Kraken nodded in agreement with the others, he turned toward his ship. With a nod to Crow she gave the sign for full return to the Leviathan. They quickly prepared the ship for full speed, pulling all cannons and closing all hatches. Krakens crew enjoyed the prodding at the Dates expense but nothing the soldiers hadn’t expected from pirates. Kraken had one of his attendants go prepare something for the soldiers while he himself took them down to the lower decks, to relax while they journeyed. Once they had gotten to their quarters Kraken asked to speak to the man in charge.
Sergent: “That would be me Lord Kraken”
Kraken: “Captain Kraken will do on land, on the ship any term works. I need you all to remove anything with the lovely hue of blue or reference to the Date.”
Sergent: “Wait, what, why?”
Kraken: “I also need you to swear not to mention Date’s name unless I do so. The Fuma are clever, but if this goes south I don’t want Date dragged down with us. I need them to think we are unaligned  I even now have informed the Tachibana of my actions and we have made sure they are even unmarked in this conflict. I have ordered my attendant to prepare armor and weapons to replace those marked by Date colors. So I will not be taking your ability to survive on the battlefield. Now rest and prepare, will be there in no time at all.”
Kraken moves toward his quarters to plan his next move with his arrival. Several ships will meet him at the tip of Tachibana territory and need orders. As for now, the signal has been given, Krakens ships that have been harassing Fuma territory will see the smoke in minutes and begin their assault on the island. Fuma will know regret.
Crow: “Kraken, one of my cutthroats has returned with word from the Shima. The mentioned routes through his territory have been given the go ahead, as long as land based troops do not engage or cause problems through his territory he will not bring conflict to us. Shall I inform the Date?”
Kraken: “I think it may be too late, will try to signal Whisper when they stop. What of the Maeda?”
Crow: “No response yet, but it will take time for my cutthroat to signal us of course. I also hate to inform you of this, but Lord Tachibana has been critically wounded, they do not believe he will make it. He was not inured on the battlefield but in an accident. That could mean accident, or assassin I’m guessing.”
Kraken: “Inform them of our sympathies, and tell Ginchiyo if she needs any support I will lend what I can.”
Crow: “I can think of some ways to support her sir. I have been looking over several suitable, how would you call them suitors.”
Kraken: “Suitors, for what?”
Crow: “For you, if I marry you away we gain a permanent ally. If Lord Tachibana passes, then Ginchiyo would make a good candidate. We have other options of course. Tsuruhime is suitable, but not sure on her relationship status. You have the horrible student of that horrible man, Magoichi. Of course several daughters and sisters of other lords, I feel Oichi may not be a bad decision, but I have a feeling her brother will marry her off for his own gain. And then you have S….”
Kraken: “Let me stop you there, I just have one comment on the matter. No one wants to marry a pirate. End of story.”
Providence 47, Tiny Island. The Black Rose Harlots -
Pirate Captain Deneb Rove stood looking over her vessels, all painted black or made from the darkest woods one could tell the signs of her dreaded fleet terrorized the lower western areas of Japan. Under the order of Kraken she had been given full privilege to take up the acts of piracy surrounding the wester Fuma territories. With great enjoyment she delivered a serious a thefts and engagements that have cut off Fuma’s island and caused problems with weapon shortages to his land based providence. With he site of Krakens Violet smoke mixed with red she orders full attack on the island. Her ships move to surround and the bombardment of all harbor and seaside bases begins. People watch in horror as one of Krakens notable 3 pirate captians beneath him release the onslaught of war on the Fuma. Not a single ship is allowed to pass, merchant are ordered to drop anchor and be searched or be blown out of the water, vessels not notifying their colors are attacked without warning.
Deneb Rove: “Ladies and gutter rats, lets not let these men know an honorable death in battle, if you site a Fuma soldier, sink the boat before it engages, if you hesitate, I will turn the The Black Orchid (main ship of The Black Rose Harlots) on your ships myself. We will show Kraken why he continues to give us his trust.”
~Hanbei~ Province #22 Etchu and #24 Kaga
Before going out, Hanbei requested one of the Date's messenger's to order his little ship to start heading back to the Otomo territory. He told the messenger to tell his adviser (in charge of the ship) the good news of the alliance. Hanbei told him to not worry about him because he will be going to the fight and he will find another route back.
Hanbei was riding near Masamune's horse, his horse following Masamune's. He quickly began to grow bored of the scenery of the rolling hills and the ocean views. It was going to be a long ride to get through the Shima and Maeda territory down to the Fuma.
Why am I even here? I came to form an alliance, and now there's going to be a war. This isn't even my fight, but we are aligned. So it is then I guess,or maybe it should be Sorin's buisness where I go fight, but I wish I could win just while napping....
Hanbei yawned, and his eyes started to close. He put his head on the horse's neck, as if it were a pillow. It was not long before he asleep, alone in his own dreamworld. He soon found himself reliving his old memories.
The next thing Hanbei saw was the face of his mother and his mentor, which happened to be his aunt. His mother's name was Lilly and she was a twin with Aunt R. They looked identical, except for the ribbons in their hair and color of the clothes they wore that day. Aunt R told Hanbei that the 'R 'stood for "Requiem," "Remarkable," and "Remember." That never made sense to him, so he would just call her "Aunt".
"You're getting smarter, Hanbei, I don't know what to do with you anymore, your level is beyond mine," his mom told him.
"Let me sleep, that's all I ever wanted," Hanbei replied, leaning back.
"Nonsense! You could be something great! A scholar perhaps? Wouldn't it be wonderful if you were to work for one of the many good lords out there?" His Aunt pondered.
"Not really, too much work," Hanbei muttered.
"Are you sure you can't teach him anymore?" His mom asked her sister.
"It's impossible. His knowledge surpasses me and the classes I teach at our little school here. He needs to go to a bigger, better place to achieve a higher education."
"I see," replied his mom, "Hanbei, I want you to go to the main city today and pick up some supplies. Can you do that?"
"What?! Why me?!" Hanbei retorted.
"Because your the only one that isn't busy working in the shop," his mom stated bluntly, handing him some money. Hanbei scowled, and hurried off.
Crash! Bang! Bash! These were the sounds that echoed in Hanbei's ears as he was running towards his village that was on fire.
"Mother! Father! Aunt!" Hanbei was racing towards the town, a fire growing quickly over it. He ran into the shop where his mother always was, but he was greeted with a horrified vision of her melting on fire. He tried to grab a bucket of water to dowse the flames, but that didn't work; The flames engulfed everyone and everything, except himself. He was left helpless as his imagination worked over his nightmare.
Hanbei screamed as he ran through the flames, knowing it was too late. He watched the buildings burn down in his imagination dozens of time. However, in reality, he knew he returned home too late. When he came back home, everyone and everything was burned to the ground. All that was left was ashes. It was a dream that never makes someone the same again.
~Sorin~ Province #56 Bungo and Province #57 Buzen
Sorin and Motonari were able to lead the army fairly quickly across Otomo territory. After all, it was Sorin's homeland, so nobody gave the soldiers a hard time. As the army passed through, people bowed their heads in acknowledgement. The people of the province believed that if the army engaged in war, it was for a good reason. Loyal citizens always give the Otomo clan their praise for their faith in what is right.
The army soon crossed the border into Hojo territory. It was evident they would have to wait for Takakage's army to create the distraction. When the time was right, Sorin would order his army to charge.
I just can't wait! I want this land; it can be used to help make the Otomo land prosper even more. There's more resources and land. We can become even richer!
~Nobunaga~ Province #33 Kwatchi
The Kuroda and Oda army's screams began to fill the atmosphere. Swords and armor clashed together, and ordinary citizens with pitchforks began to also rise up. Nobunaga was riding on his horse, slaughtering any citizen or soldier that got in his path. His horse even ran over a man charging straight for him.
The Oda army began to see casualties as well. The Kuroda had an advantage of two to one, since the Oda army was split in half due to the plan. This did not waver the men's fighting spirit, and certainly not Nobunaga. As people looked at him, fear could be seen in their eyes. They were afraid.
Nobunaga pointed his sword out, and a dark energy channeled out and hit all the soldiers in its path. This dark energy killed them - instantly. He began to slash away at any remaining enemies.
"We have the surrounding town under control. Now for the castle."
More traveling, yayz! XD
~Masamune - Providence 25 -> Providence 37 - Horseback~
The moon was rising through the trees as the Calvary rides pass the border of Providence 24 into Providence 25. The terrian was getting more rocky and hard. We might have to stop soon if this terrain keeps up... It'll slow down the horses. Masamune was brought out of his thoughts by a bump to the side of his horse. Hanbei's horse was started to act up with nobody at the reigns. Oh yea, almost about him there after I tuned his snoring out.... Masamune leaned over and grabbed the reins and pulled the horse back on course. Then he them on top of Hanbei, in an attempt to wake him up. They just slid off his back. Hanbei turned his head, too, to get it into a better position. But really, he was tossing from whatever he was dreaming about. "This is what you get for sleeping on a horse..." Masamune said. "Well, better jerk him awake before he goes off a cliff or something. If he doesn't return to Lord Sorin in one piece, I'm in trouble."
Masamune paced closer and grabbed the back of Hanbei's coat. He gave him a hard shake, not hard enough to knock him off the horse, but great enough to wake him. "Rise and shine! We'll be traveling into the night. I need an extra set of eyes." Masamune said.
"Sir, we should be nearing Maeda territory near the middle of the night. We are making excellent progress. The scout reported back the the Leviathan is keep a steady pace with us. They are a bit ahead of us, actually. They have the wind to their advantage." Kojuro reported.
Masamune took a few paces away from Hanbei's horse and took the lead again. "Good. I can't wait to shred some Fuma soldiers to pieces." He didn't even check to see if he actually did wake Hanbei.
"Whisper also got wind of me that we are safe in Shima territory as long as we don't attack them. Which, we haven't. Shima aren't the enemy, it's Fuma." Kotaro also reported.
"What about Maeda? Any word from them?" Masamune asked curiously. Kojuro shook his head no. "We might be in for a fight. Someone was snoozing on the job." Masamune glanced over Hanbei.
"Well, it was quite a long boatride to get to Echigo, and then he his coming with us to fight the Fuma. I was only going to offer him the horse, he didn't have to join us. This isn't Otomo's fight. This is Date's and Kraken's."
"It's probably to seal the alliance." Masamune assumed. He looked at the moonlit road in front of him. This trail looks like it's been used before, by an army perhaps. It also looks like a Merchant route... But, it's a bit wide for that. This must be how the Shima move quickly from Providence to Providence. Province to Province...reminds me of the old days, before everything happened.
Not too long ago, when Masamune's father ruled the land, they lived in Providence 2, Mutsu, but everyone liked to call it Oshu. It was the home and pridelands of the Date. The Date, back then, were very prosperous and well respected. They were highly acclaimed for their daunting Calvary.  Date lands stretched from Providence 2, 3, and 4. But Teremune, Masamune's father, got greedy and tried to take over more land. His foolishness led to the Date losing their homeland, pride, and most of their Calvary and retreating to Echigo. Echigo never felt like 'home' to Masamune, but it was all he had. He tried to not let it show to his people and Kojuro. I swear, one day I will get back Oshu! But not the way my father did things. We will do it my way.
By this time, they were well into Providence 37 and almost at the border. Maeda land could of been seen if it wasn't dark.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Motonari - Providence 57 - Hojo lands.
Up ahead, Motonari could hear the battle cries of Hojo soldiers. Taka's plan must of worked! "This is great news, Lord Sorin, Takakage's diversion sounds like a success! We should use this to our complete advantage." Motonari said. He smile as everything was going according to plan.

The battlefield loomed ahead them, the Moon shining down on the bloodstained earth. With a battle cry, Sorin's main force of troops joined the battle. Motonari at first was attack the Hojo on horseback, but found his weapon to be more useful on the ground. He hopped off his horse and started to fight hand and hand with the Otomo. But age took it's toll. I'm getting to old for this. I should be thinking about retiring soon, and letting Taka take over the clan. But for now, we must help the Otomo win!

Spoiler:

~Hanbei~ Provinces #38 Tango, #39 Tajima, and #41 Ibaba
Hanbei suddenly awoke from his dream when he felt the strength of a hard force jerk him. The voice told him something about having another set of eyes. Hanbei jumped up, grabbing the reins of his horse to remember he was going to the fight against the Fuma. That's right. We're heading to ninja territory. This isn't really a time to be napping, although I'd like to win in my sleep!
He looked to see that the culprit of ruining his naptime was none other than Masamune Date. Hanbei his rolled eyes, muttering only a single phrase: "show-off."
The army started to travel across Maeda land. A passing army stopped them.
"Halt," said the commander, "Why are hostile Date troops on this territory?"
"We come in peace, we are just passing through," said Hanbei, stopping to reply to the commander as the army kept proceeding. He looked at the army in dismay.
"Keiji might want to hear about this. Do you have a quarrel with him? We will drive you out if we have to, to protect our land."
"The Date mean no harm to the Maeda. Only the Fuma. We wish to pass through, and as you can see we aren't going to change our minds and turn back anytime soon. Either deal with the slight discomfort, or drive away a potential ally with a fight."
"Hmm...we do not like those ninjas next to us....but it is up to Keiji if you may pass through. You there! Send a message to Lord Keiji. Tell him we have some unwanted guests on our territory."
Shoot! We don't have time to be dealing with this now!

~Sorin~ Province 57 Buzen
The attack was going as the army had planned. The Hojo men were taken by surprise, underestimating the invading army's side. The Otomo army had the upper hand, along with the Mori assistance. The Hojo men started to flee, only to be knocked down by the spells of the Otomo men. The Otomo army fought primarily with magic spells.
Sorin raised his hand to conjure a rainstorm. Rain started pelting down on the army, making it muggy and foggy. The point of the rain was so that way the Hojo men would have a harder time seeing the opponent. However, it unfortunately would affect the men of the Otomo and Mori too, since their perceptions would be skewed too.
"Men! To the castle!" Sorin ordered, his voice echoing across the plains.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!" the men screamed, charging straight towards castle. The Otomo army started to knock down everyone coming in their way with their magical spells. Sorin looked at Motonari, and signaled him to come too.
"Come, Motonari. We can claim the castle if we overrun it and kill the adviser in charge. It will be harder for them to prepare for an attack with this muddy rain pouring down. They won't be able to see a thing. Come now, I casted the spell so the rain keeps getting progressively worse."

~Nobunaga~ Province #33 Kwatchi
Nobunaga charged into the castle, slaughtering the two people who were at the entrance with ease. He rode in the palace, going down the various halls to find the person in charge. He kept riding until he found a flight of stairs that lead him to the upper floor. He killed any soldiers with came near him, regardless of whether or not they raised their weapons.
Nobunaga found the adviser in charge of the castle. He was noticeable since he was wearing a more decorative outfit than the rest of the Kuroda army.
"Nobunaga, why have you come here? The Kuroda do not wish to fight you."
"muahahahah..............you think this is a matter of will? All I want is for you to bow down!" Nobunaga jumped off his horse, raising his sword pointing downwards. As soon as he landed, the sword hit the floor and a dark energy came channeling out. The energy flowed from the impact onto the men, thrusting them against the stone walls of the castle. Some of them were bleeding from the impact of the concrete walls, whiles other had broken limbs. Nobunaga pointed his sword at the adviser.
"Have mercy!" the man screamed, but Nobunaga showed none. He took his sword and plunged it into the man, killing him as the dark energy flowed into the man's body. It destroyed all of his internal organs, making the man into a bloody soup of mess. The other men stared, afraid. Nobunaga turned away, getting back on his horse. He took the dead adviser's armor and rode his horse out onto the balcony.
"All who do not obey me will share a similar fate." Nobunaga stated, hanging the armor from the castle for the townspeople to see. The horrified looks of their faces! Life for them today has changed as they know it.

Province 6: Hitachi (sorta)

The next few days Magoichi spent preparing her troops to supply the naval ships. Indigo had provided useful information on better routes to sail for the blockade.

"I believe this section should be angled at 23.1 degrees, to better avoid the Maeda so they don't have trouble with it"
Magoichi had said, modifying the plans "Not that we couldn't just shoot them if they decided to be uncooperative." *laughs*

Her people trained through the days. Not without time to rest and celebrate of course the approaching Day of Black Feathers. War or not, the proud Saika always found ways to bring in their favorite festival.

Indigo had proven useful. She helped Rinku remove the annoyance on the western bridge, returning safe passive to the area. The Ogre-like Sumo wouldn't let up but they're teamwork came out in the end. On the way back, Rinku found two lady travelers, one middle aged and one around his age, and an ill boy of about ten years of age. The boy was passed out beside the road, so Rinku helped escort them to the next town, Indigo following quietly from the shadows. He stayed til the lad got through the worse of his condition. Around that time the fleet preparations should have finished. Rinku made his way to give Kraken a representative of the Saika, as the plans for the Saikan mainland army were put together.

-Providence 47, Fuma waters -

The pirates had successfully in the manner of a few hours cut off the island from all aid, the attack now was set to invade the one keep upon the small landmass. Deneb had pulled up her flagship The Black Orchid to the last remaining harbor able to handle craft, 3 of her larger sized vessels pulled up as well ready to unload their crew across the war torn land. The rest of her smaller vessels held their ground trying to buy time for capture of the island and hold Fuma reinforcements at the mainland.

Deneb Rove: “Gutter Rats hold the deck protect the new recruits. Courtesans, take the front charge. Ladies in waiting bring the gunpowder bombs to breech the gates. Orphans, use your small frames and rifles to disrupt enemy forces, entrench yourselves. Failure here is a return to the lifestyles we all ran from. So Ladies let your past build that rage and unleash it on the Fuma.”

With those words, the first assault began on the island. While out by the mainland Fuma ships started to appear, troops had finally reclaimed a harbor and were in the act to counter attack. Fuma generals stood happy over their ships as they closely watched pirate ships sink. Seeing as the larger ones where docked, Fuma took advantage of this and went on their merry way. They laughed at the slaughter of orphans and children left at the helms, that is until they saw the violet haze, the smoke quickly covering large portions of water. The largest vessel of the Fuma, saw the fog quickly enveloping their latest prey, a small pontoon vessel being used to safeguard newborns and toddlers of the crews who currently led the assault on the island. They wanted the Harlots to suffer and the sinking of that ship would bring grief.

Fuma General: “We cannot let them hide in their tricks, bring us in, find that boat, we will bring it and all it’s occupants to the bottom of the sea.”

Fuma helmsman: “Sir, we cannot see, also doesn’t it sound extremely quiet, what happened to our other ships in the fog.”

Fuma General: “Probably enjoying some of the finer looking… lets call them spoils of war from our victory over these peasants and whores. Bring us deeper. I think I hear crying.”

As the flagship moved further into the fog, they began to indeed hear crying, moans of drowning men could be heard all around. Cries of pain. Those of soldiers, not women. Suddenly they saw what was too late to avoid. The shadow engulfed the entire ship and before a single shot could be fired the crew was on it’s way to the bottom of the sea.

The Leviathan took the Fuma vessel head on, cleaving it in half. No shots needed to be fired, as the local sharks had gone into a blood frenzy. Crow stood along with edge, looking over the destruction.

Crow: “You got another big one Kraken, you think they would stop sailing into us by now… Shall we go aid Deneb with the Island.”

Kraken: “No, she has it under control. She’ll cleave a bloody line to their generals for us. Let her have that moment. For now, keep pulling her smaller vessels back behind our defensive line, I know these orphans and children signed up for this, but I do not like to see them die at the hands of those who seem to enjoy it.”

Crow: “I hear our Date friends have gotten hung up, what shall we do about the mainland.”

Kraken: “Not sure. Maybe make such a bloody mess that all attention comes to me and not them. I was thinking since the Fuma are sending so many troops to the shore to load onto boats to counter our assault of the island. I might take The Leviathan for a walk down the coast, maybe destroy everything we can hit and start fires with the Trebuchet with anything bearing a Fuma insignia. Let the old girl have some fun again.”

Kraken, pats the heavy metal brackets on his wheel tenderly. Crows posture changes with Krakens last commit, almost of that of excitement and arousal of the thoughts of the impending chaos.

Crow: “Sounds like something I would order, I think I’m influencing you more and more, but if you would like we could also add poison to the mix, nothing says FEAR ME more than entire dead villages due to poisoned water sources.”

Kraken:”Fires can be outrun, minimal loss. Poison cannot. Sadly as much as I hate the Fuma, I do not hate their people trying to live their simple lives. I cannot let them die in that manner.”

Crow sighs heavily, flips her hair with her hand and looks back at Kraken her posture returning to normal.

Crow:“Way to kill the moment, I was so excited to see you be bad.”

Providence 26 -Lucia

  Lucia then talked to her cousin, Mitsunari, about her idea of creating a large wall against the Oda. She then asked, "Who could serve as a strong ally to take on the Oda, Mitsunari-san?"

  Mitsunari nodded and started educating the young leader, "First there is the Sanada, they have powerful war capabilities and defensive of the same; they have 2 great warriors, Yukimura Sanada, their Leader, and Kirito Vaike, the Black Swordsman."
  Lucia was interested after hearing Kirito being stated. Her War Advisor then countinued, "Next would be the Saika, the best Marksman force in Japan. Their leader, Magoichi Saika, has a burning grudge against Nobunaga.
 After them, the Date, the Strongest Calvary in Japan, there cocky leader Is 'colorful' in personality, but is rather bull headed.
 After them, the Mori, a frail force lead by the most able tactition in exsistance.

Then Kraken, he is a big pirate who rules the sea with a kind heart. His courtesan. Crow, is a 'hard to kil' type, like your mother once was.

 The Otomo, they have 3 noteworthy Warlords, Sorin, the numbing leader, Hanbi, a cocky tactition with a giant shield, then Mikasa, a rose headed war beast who is against the Oda and aims to do what is right.

 The last two are minor threats, the Hosakawa and Toyotomi, they are lead by capable warriors but are to frail to try anything."

  Lucia nodded, replying from the information onslaught she received, "Who would you recommend to alliance with?"

  Mitsunari scoffed, then replied, "With all that information, the Sanada, Saika, Mori, and Otomo. Also, any small clans out there like Tsurihime's, Kanbei, and Salon can become well placed allies in the long run."

  Lucia asked her cousin, "Mitsunari-San, can you request a call to the Warlords of all of those allies to send a representative to here to discuss alliance and creation of the Ishida Ward?"

  Mitsunari nodded, "As you wish, milord."

  Lucia smiled, saying, "You have my gratitude."

Posts may be more frequent since both of my characters are at a state of war. Happy reading about the battles Very Happy

~Masamune - Providence 46 - Near Fuma Border~

Masamune came to a close stop with his horse, overhearing Hanbei and the Meada soldier. The army behind him also came to a stop. Masamune turned his horse towards Hanbei. "What's the scoop?"

Hanbei looked up at Masamune, "We have to wait for Lord Keiji to come and give us the okay to pass through."

"We have no time for this! Kraken will probably be already in Fuma territory by seas..." Masamune said.

"Judging our location, the Maeda's castle isn't too far from here. It won't be a long wait. This will be a good opportunity to do one last weapon, armor check." Kojuro concluding, riding up to Masamune.

It wasn't long before a horse could be hear running through the rocky ground. A man in a large yellow coat on a black horse with a white main rode up. "Howdy! I heard you Date people are on my territory?" the man, Keiji, replied.

"We are just passing through. Our enemy is the Fuma, not the Meada. I promise you none of your men will be harm to and from the war." Masamune said confidently. Keiji was clearly a larger built than Masamune, and could easily knock him off his horse, if Keiji wanted too.

"Well, we never liked the Fuma anyways, so I don't see the problem here. I give you permission to continue on your conquest. However, if any of my men or townspeople report your banners hurting or harassing the town, there will be a punishment." Keiji said. He back his horse away off the path and signaled for the Date army to mush forward. Masamune started with his horse first, slow at first, and then picked up speed. Kojuro and Hanbei were the next too to pick up speed.

The Fuma border was in sight in a matter of minutes, and the Date army crossed it without hesitation. "We finally reach the Fuma! Now let's show them what the Date are made of!" Masamune turned around on his horse and called to the army. The men cheered and unsheathed their weapons. Masamune took out one of his swords and it was starting to glow with electricity. Now the party is REALLY getting started!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Motonari - Providence 57 - Battle~
"Lord Sorin, this weather is also affecting our men. And killing off all advisors isn't a good idea either. They could provide us with great knowledge on how to take over the rest of the Hojo territory or even on another army." Motonari said while attack a soldier. He shot some bullets out of his claw and slashed the man to the ground. He did head in the direction of the castle, slow but steady.
The rain poured down and soaked Motonari's clothes. He was chilled to the bone. I must press on, victory is in the palm of our hands, despite Lord Sorin's childness. Motonari spotted Takakage near by, taking care of some soldiers near his horse with a handy earth spell. Vines grew out of the ground at a rapid speed and grab the soldiers. Then they were flung to the ground by them.
"Takakage! Head for the castle, son! But leave the advisors alive, only go for the head of the castle!" Motonari called through the chaos.
Taka nodded through the rain and heading for the castle. Water streamed off the sides of his horse.
Motonari ran after him. I regret not taking that horse with me. Another one of our men took the reins and is now using it as transportation and support. I'm glad it's not going to waste.
He caught up to Taka at the front gate, who was about to cast another earth spell to take down the gate. The moat around the castle was getting dangerously high and almost unsafe for people to be on the bridge. "Taka, let me lend you a hand. I'll shoot the  door and I want you to yank the door open with your magic." Motonari said between pants.
The duo does as plan, and it works. Otomo men start to stream into the castle. Motonari looks around him at the wasteland called a battlefield. This war really needs to stop. More lives are being affected than helped..
